New countries, new formats, new ideas
Local market proximity, strong trade fair appearances, and practical knowledge transfer:
a review of the ORBIS year

New countries, new formats, new momentum
2025 was a year full of change for ORBIS Europe: with a stronger local presence, new team members, and exciting trade fair appearances, we have set the course for the coming years. It’s time to summarize what has particularly shaped us this year and where the journey will take us in 2026.
International growth: new presence in Italy, Scandinavia, and Poland
Customer proximity is one of the key factors in ORBIS’s success. That is why we have further expanded our presence in several European regions. The focus here is on direct dialogue with companies and an even deeper understanding of regional conditions.
An important step in this direction was our new positioning in Italy, where Country Manager Nicola Corciulo has been representing us since this year. Italy is one of the most dynamic markets for mechanical engineering, automotive, and plastics processing industries in which efficient and sustainable reusable packaging is playing an increasingly important role.
The Scandinavian and Polish markets also continued to gain in importance this year. Both regions are actively driving the shift toward sustainable logistics processes and seeking solutions that reduce waste, lower transport costs, and make supply chains more robust.
The people at ORBIS: Welcome to the team, Nicola!
Behind every development are the people who make it possible. That’s why we are particularly pleased to welcome Nicola Corciulo, who has been Country Manager for the Italian market since September. In this short interview, he talks about his experiences during his first few months in the role:
How did you like your first few months at ORBIS Europe?
Thanks to the people who work at ORBIS, I found the atmosphere very welcoming from the very first moment. I immediately felt like part of the family. This helped me quickly settle into the company dynamic and get to know our products. Although I’ve only been with ORBIS for three months, I feel like I’ve been part of the team for much longer.
What has been your highlight so far?
That was during the last sales and marketing meeting, where we jointly defined the upcoming topics and further refined our strategy. This meeting was very informative for me and helped me get started.
What do you particularly like about your work at ORBIS Europe?
The harmony within the team, the mutual support, and the convincing leadership qualities of the company management.
ORBIS at trade fairs: exchange, insights, and new contacts
As every year, trade fairs were once again a central part of our activities and once again a valuable meeting place for dialogue with experts and users.
In 2025, we were therefore present at the following trade fairs:
• WarsawPack (Poland)
• Ipack Ima (Italy)
• Elmia Subcontractor (Sweden)
There, we were not only able to demonstrate our products in live use, but also gain insights into regional requirements. The discussions we had on site reinforce our commitment to continuing to pursue our local-to-local strategy.
Safe, certified, tailor-made: Project highlights 2025
This year, we also successfully implemented a number of technically demanding projects. These include eight completed hazardous goods projects, in which the highest safety requirements and all relevant regulations were consistently adhered to at every stage.
Another special milestone was the successful renewal of the UN packaging manufacturer certification for the warehouse in Ieper. This confirms our commitment to tested quality and safety along the entire supply chain.
In addition, we were able to implement numerous customer projects with individually developed technical solutions. These tailor-made approaches not only solved specific challenges, but also strengthened satisfaction and partnership-based cooperation with our customers.

Another particularly nice highlight for us was the practical report on the use of ORBIS containers by one of our long-standing customers. The company has been using our plastic packaging for more than two decades, demonstrating how economic efficiency and sustainability can be combined. Curious? Click here.
Knowledge transfer: Launch of our PPWR webinar series
Regulatory changes are increasingly determining the requirements for packaging and logistics processes. The new EU Packaging Regulation PPWR raises fundamental questions for many companies. To provide guidance, we have launched our new PPWR webinar series in 2025 in collaboration with Pacoon, a consulting agency for packaging design and sustainable packaging solutions. Further webinars will follow in 2026. We will announce the dates in good time.
In the webinar, experts from ORBIS and Pacoon explain the regulation, outline the requirements, and explain what they mean for companies and their (global) supply chains.
Starting the new year with fresh momentum
2025 has shown how important it is to be close to the market and have reliable partnerships. In the coming year, we will continue to pursue this path consistently in particular with the further implementation of our local-to-local strategy. With new regional contacts, practical knowledge formats, strong trade fair appearances, and a motivated team, ORBIS Europe is looking forward to the coming year with great energy. We look forward to accompanying our customers and partners on their journey toward more efficient, sustainable, and intelligent logistics processes in 2026.
